US market alternator fit canada civic?
i got a 2002 civic ex..4 door.automatic.vtec.
the alternator is only charging 13.50V..my manual alternator info test says it has to be no less than 13.90V.if less that 13.90v i need to fix or replace alternator.
i got me a friend that has one but it a US Honda car and my Honda is Canada.i saw in eBay that us market alternator only fit US manufactured civic.,is this right? or are alternator compatible?

i asked because on ebay several sellers stated the same as if there is a difference in some part between USA manufacture and Canada manufacture honda.
Both are the exact same Denso Alternator, same Part Number, Canada and the US Civics has only a few things different, but the alternator isnt one of them.
The sellers must be confused with older Civics. On the 96-00 SOHC CIvics, the alternator is different for US vs. Canada because one has a round plug and the other has a square plug.
