94 GSR block half shaft stripped
whts up ht...its been awhile to get on ht ha
i own a 94 gsr and i accidentally over tight the 3 bolts for the half shaft on the block which its came out as stripped =(....
so im wondering if can do Heli-Coil Insert with the thread fixed??
but can do it by under the vehicle while doing that???

I don't know objectively. I didn't seem like they torque on those bolts is so high that heli-coils wouldn't work.
The three bolts are 10mm with 1.25mm thread pitch - torqued to 29ft-lbs. Doesn't seem like you're going to rip out a coil that large in diameter with only 29ft-lbs.
OTOH, what choice do you have? It's *way* cheaper than a new block...
