i got a 2000 civic ex automatic car with obd1 jdm d16a vtec and a auto trans on it can i just run a jumper harness and a chipped p28 cause there is no knock sensor and crank sensor, so i dont get any codes or do i have to run a obd1 auto ecu?

I have not heard of anyone running a chipped P28 with an auto trans. Ask the shop about details, like how are you going to get a basemap for it. There are some for the B16 but they don't have shift point and stuff like that.

 

If you have an automatic then get an ECU for your automatic. No square hole and round pegging it.
