Zc motor rebuild/gasket
So I've got a few questions. I'm looking into a complete rebuild on an 89 prelude 2.0si 4ws engine. The b20a. It won't be used for any racing applications or harsh conditions that would need boost or turbo. Yes I understand a turbo would be fun. However I'm rebuilding it as a reliable DD/ show car.
I'm assuming I would need a re-ring engine kit that has all the gaskets and seals. Are there any preferences on oem vs autozone/orielly/napa. I do realize some if not all will say go oem. But I'm looking for quality and price being decent quality and cheaper price. Let's have it everyone would like to save money.
If the pistons look good, just hone and machine head, compression check and possibly new bearings?
Headstuds. Stick with what's on the block? Oem? Or arp headstuds?
If the motor looks okay can I just get away with a whole ring seal set and replace just the seals and gaskets and give her a good tune?
If anyone else can add anything useful or any advice. It will Definately be appreciated.

Then you want the Prelude forum. Not the Civic forum.
