Window Motor
My driver side window stopped working, I can hear it click when i push the window button, checked the fuse and it was fine.
any i deal how i can check if its a bad motor?
Does it have anything to do with a relating to the passenger window? Ie: circuits. The reason i'm asking because i took apart my passenger door panel to retint that window and maybe i might have knock an plug loose that affects the driver side window?
Also if it is the driver side window motor how hard are those to replace?
thanks

If the motor is working, get a multimeter and make sure there is power being sent to the motor in the first place. It could just be a loose pin or wiring in the door. Sounds like a bad motor if you're hearing noises without seeing results.
Thanks alot, i'll give those thing a try. probably this weekend...been too way too busy but it sucks not rolling down your window. lol why couldn't it be the passenger side. I have to open my door when i'm talking to someone outside the car lol (Ie: Security people or toll chargers)
The "click" you hear is the relay in the auto down circuit for the drivers door window, [it is part of the main switch.
The pass. side window and it's wiring has nothing to do with drivers window.
Most common problem for power windows is the switch, 2nd is the motor.
The window circuit in Honda/Acura are "rest at ground polarity reversing" to trouble shoot power window problems the first thing you should do is test the two leads going to the motor with a multimeter, switch must be plugged in, both leads must test as grounds, with one of the leads changing to 12V+ when switch is rocked for up and the other lead when switch is rocked for down.
I simple test is to use a 12V test light, connecting the ground clip to one of the motor leads and the test probe to the other lead, if the test light lights up when switch is rocked for up and down the switch is good, this test should be done by connecting the test light to the plug that plugs into the motor, to make sure wiring is good all the way to the motor. 94
