Icon2 T3 to T4 Adapter - use gaskets and ultra copper?

I don't want to change out my T3 Manifold cos it has served me very well and I like it but since I am now going to a T4 flanged turbo, I need to use a T3 to T4 adapter and I was wondering if it is advisable to :

1. Use just ultra copper (copper sealer) in between the T3 manifold flange and the adapter, as well as the adapter's T4 side to the turbo

2. Use ultra copper AND the gaskets (coated on each side with ultra copper)

3. Use just gaskets

just the copper. if both surfaces are perfect it should seal with nothing. but yes a light coat is what i use.

Just thought about this - what about V-band flanges? Is it better to put a thin coat of ultra copper inbetween both flanges before tightening them down or is it just a waste?
