recently was scammed by Allmotorda92 for 350$$. he private messaged me saying he had a s300 unit he was sellin i talked to him alittle about it seemed like he was ok. sent money threw paypal right away n from minute i sent money it went bad. he told me hell ship first thing monday but never did then i talked to him n he said it shipped out tuesday ups i only live in jersey he said hes from georgia only 2 days 3 the most shoulda had it last week. now he has answered anything, i sent multiple text, called n left message, messaged him on here. its simple i want my money or my s300.

File a claim thru paypal
Hopefully he'll still have the money in his account.
If not file a claim thru the credit card used in your paypal account.

Werd, I know PayPal started holding money for 21 days now just to keep people from taking the cash out immediately and running. I don't know if it applies for just eBay purchases though. I would file ASAP.

 

yea its been filed since sunday but they give him 10 days to response before makin there decision sucks but thanks guys n wat u mean about filin a claim with the credit card on paypal meanin his or mine??

 

If paypal rules in his favour, you can have your credit card company do a chargeback on the original purchase taken out by paypal. Keep in mind you'll never be able to use paypal again after this because they take the hit and will likely blacklist you.

Is the Address he gave me, said it was different than the address on his paypal. Now he wont respond or anything. I just happened across this tread and recognized the name and number he was txting me from.

All you guys go down to your local police department and talk to someone in their consumer or cyber crimes department. You should be able to file a police report. Small claims cases are cheap, so contact the county where he lives and see if they can fax or mail you the paperwork to file. You guys would have to make the trip where he lives for court, but he would have to pay for travel expenses if you won. If he didn't have the money to pay you could seize his assets. Also since it was across state lines could it wire fraud which is a federal offense?

 

Very good idea you should all get together and take action. And I thought the cyber thing was a federal thing now a days? Im probally wrong but just wondering.
