Do you know why the "made in russia" stamp is different from others?

 

Pretty real to me.

 

Some have it stamped across the inner lip and others behind the hub area. It looks like the rims were painted over.

 

Wheel size and generation dictates the stamp location as well. Are those 16" wheels?

 

The shape of the lip is right, the nice sharply cut spokes are right, the way the concave in the lug recess is shaped is right. They are for sure real. The only thing that threw me off a little was the red valve stem, but those are so easy to change it doesn't really matter.

 

Yes they are 16"s

 

Makes sense for the location of that manufacturing stamp.

Dude, the Made in Russia stamp, lip style and finish all are tell-tale signs they are real deal.

My buddy steve (norcal em1) was looking into these wheels dude was selling them for 1200 i belive here in the bay with tires .He found them to be fakes, From where the lug holes are .How they overlap into the centers so much..

Now look how a real sets lug hols do not over lap into the center..

 

^^The pics u posted r of 5 lug regas and 15 inch final version regas in 4x100 whereas the rims in question here look to be 16" and 4x100; I do understand the lug hole point u r trying to make but probably better to compare them to 16 and 4x100 instead. The lug holes do look like they overlap in the OP's picture.

I dug up some 16" 4x100 rega pics that I have saved and they do raise some questions.

16x7 +45 4x100..now in this set...look at the top right wheel in first picture..the holes do seem to overlap while in the others they dont seem to..same on the left wheel in the second pic below..not sur eonthe make of these but probably older than the white set

Also, I think I see the slits on the sides of the spokes on the wheel posted by OP but again the pic quality is too small and poor to tell for sure..so we def. need some detailed n better quality pics of the wheels in question.

Taking the tire off and weighing the wheel is not a bad idea either.

 

I will try to get better pictures up but the wheels do have the slits in the side of the spokes

I've seen these in another forum thread. They apparently are really good copies that have been turning up in Thailand. I was wondering when these were going to pop up here.
