Acura Integra Insurance Comparisons
I just recently sold my 2001 Acura Integra LS due to it getting totaled
. I'm planning on using the money from the sale on top of the insurance money to getting a newer car.
If any of you guys have switched to one of these cars from an Integra, could you guys tell me how much your insurance premiums decreased or increased? I know the Integra has one of the highest insurance rates in the country due to thefts, collisions, and the fast and the furious movies so hopefully switching to these cars would lead to some insurance relief.
1. 2004 - 2008 Acura TSX
2. 2004 - 2008 Acura TL
3. 2003+ Honda Accord 4dr.
4. 2008+ Honda Accord 2dr.
5. 2006 - 2011 Honda Civic 2 or 4 dr.
I'm leaning towards one of these cars over the others but we'll see.

Why not call YOUR insurance agent? Insurance rates are going to vary greatly person to person. IMO the only cars that I can see being more expensive to insure on your list are the TSX and maybe the TL.
my insurance guy always said "if its two door and stick shift....its gonna be high cause thats considered the prime sports car" but i dont know if there is any truth to it
The Newer the Car the More it Will Cost. Lol trust me I was in for a big surprise.
At State farm 2 door, 4 door, and Transmission doesn't matter to them. just trim level of car.

In all seriousness and with your alternative selections aside, GEICO (government employees insurance company) can provide some outrageous savings if your policy has a government employee on its list. If not for that I'd scarcely be able to afford the ol' teg.
In regards to your list of alternatives... you should probably talk to your insurance agent and get his/her opinion.

With my 92 integra DA9 i was with Geico and paid $250 a month with $500 deductibles and no collision and bare minimum state required under insured.
Switched to Nationwide and got $50K per person $150K per accident all around, $100 deductible on comprehensive and $500 on collision, with premium roadside assistance all for $140 a month
so im easily saving $1200 a year by doing that!

So I guess I won't bother with full coverage.
