Default gsr bent valve replacement cost?

timing belt slipped and Im forsure that the number 4 piston hit and bent valves, how much should i expect to pay a shop to pull the head and put it back together if I supply parts? thanks!

shops will screw you over completely with that stuff. my guess is the 1500-2000 range. you will probably have better luck buying a used head off craigslist.

dude buy a manual and do it yourself. Then your cost will be under 500. All you need is new gaskets, new valves, valve seals, timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. take it to a machine shop for inspection and maybe some milling. buy a spring compressor and reassemble. torque everything to spec. get a friend to help too.

You will need a machine shop to mill the head nefore reassembly and maybe seat new valves with new valve guides...
