Default exedy twin disc???

Recently purchased a exedy twin disc for a Bseries cable tranny for my ef, ive been researching and havent found any luck regarding installing informations. My questions are do i need to make a clutch pedal stopper? also heard you have to disengage the clutch pedal switch so you can start the car without having to put the clutch in is this true? Any other special requirements ill have to do to my car?? Im trying to avoid ruining my motor/crank, ive read some horror storys thanks for your input-Freddy

yes and yes.

make a stop and bypass your safety switch. you dont want to over extend your pressure plate or have low oil pressure when depressing your clutch, hard on the thrust washers...

Ok thanks for the info just didn't know if I had to since I'm using a cable instead of a hydro and do you know if exedy sells a kit for your clutch pedal?

its a simple nut and bolt welded to the clutch pedal or make a bracket to weld to the floor with a nut, lock nut and bolt...

So I emailed exedy and they responded with...a no on makin a pedal stopper or disengaging the clutch switch...

The release load on the twin plate is almost the same as the stage 1,
there is no way it was because of the clutch, more than like a cause of
a faulty bearing clearance during the engine build or a failing oil
pump.

no pedal stop is needed. however i highly recommend a tilton flow control valve...its a b*tch to drive once the clutch heats up....
