Ive watched countless youtube vids on magnaflow exhausts and i just dont know. I am really looking for that deep low sound that so many civic have. Like the following vid

I wish there was some way i could try every exhaust but i cant lol. I also am aware that magnaflow exhausts are not the loudest but im thinking back to my dodge dakota Thrush glasspack muffler it was a total cop heat score.

Also headers? are they worth it. am i going to see a performance/sound difference? thanks

I have a magnaflow on my civic and love it. i used to have a greddy setup but it was to "ricey". the magnaflow is fairly quite when cruising, but when you get on it all hell breaks loose. I also have a header, its worth it but makes your exhaust "raspy". btw mines a dohc *edit* i just looked at the link and that looks like the same type of muffler i had on my greddy...

Mugen twin loop. Yonaka cat-back. WS2 as well. All have nice, mellow sounds with nice "mature" exhaust tips & canisters that don't scream "arrest me, please."

Was never too impressed with the magnaflow sound, though I suppose toning it down with resonator(s) would help.
