Default trying to install skunk2 manifold..

what a royal PITA. bolt on to b18a..yeah right. i'm installing mine on my B20..what did you guys end up doing w/ the fuel rail? it obviously wouldn't work w/ the normal spacers, so i tried just using thin washers as spacers..now i have a bad fuel leak around the number 4 injector i guess i'm going to try bolting on the fuel rail w/ no spacers at all..any ideas on how you did it? i'm also wondering if i can use the MAP sensor that is on my B20 throttle body rather than the MAP on the firewall since i no longer have an appropriate vacuum source for it. i'm trying to keep my car OBD0. thanks for any help!

i hear ya man.....i ran into that problem too on my b20....i bolted my fuel rail to the skunk2 manifold without those spacers/washers. I havent started it yet though(still waiting on an 8 dollar backordered part ), but they "seem" to seat in there pretty well.

yeah, i thought they seated pretty well, til i let my fuel pump prime and saw gas leaking out. when i get home i'm going to take the little washers out and just bolt the rail directly to the manifold. i also will change the upper injector grommets to new ones..HOPEFULLY that will fix it. what 8 dollar part are you waiting on?

I used a 99 EK SI full rail and it bolted up like a charm.

that clutch cable bracket that bolts onto the tranny...I ordered from the dealership and they gave me the wrong part, so i gotta go through the hassle of getting the right part now. after thats installed i can throw in my battery and reinstall my intake, and try to start it

I have a B18c1 in my CRX as well - had the GSR mani on and replaced it with a Skunk2 - you can get the GSR mani off no problem - The Skunk2 one frees up so much space as well once its installed...

I used the same fuel rail as you. You will have to install without spacers between the rail and manifold. I used peices of hose as the washers after the rail before the nuts. Yes, you can use the B20 MAP. You will just cut the wires from your MAP and extend to the B20 MAP. Scary, but doable. As for the fuel leak, after my initial startup, I noticed this as well. I believe it was just residuals tho. I had my bro stand there with the extinguisher tho. It has not resurfaced. Good luck, any more questions, hit me with another IM, I didn't get last one as my comp is on it's last legs.

ok, figured out the fuel leak. my o-ring on the top of the injector broke, so i changed them all w/ new ones, then installed the rail w/ no spacers. fit is awesome now, no more leaks. i'm using the map sensor on the TB..no codes. my idle is at a constant 1500 rpm w/ the idle adjusted all the way down..not sure why though..no surge, just a high idle. hopefully more to follow..thanks jalopy, i wouldn't have a running b20 if it weren't for all your help.
