Default Brake Hose to Shock Hardware

Good Day Folks
I just bought a KYB Ground Controll Eibach kit. Its the race version and does not have the mounting points to bolt the brake lines to the shocks. How is this done? Is there a bracket I can buy?

Thanks

My mount is nylon tie strap, for several years on the same one.

x2, even just the 2 bolts that hold the line to the knuckle work fine(no rattle on my car).

Doesn't the brake line bracket help keep the strut seated at the proper level in the fork?

No, the brake line mount is only to mount the brake line and is higher than where the shock meets the shock fork.

Zip ties are used in most instances where there's no tab.

If you look closely at your shocks there's a notch for where the pinch bolt of your fork will line up in, its when your lined up with that notch you can properly torque the bolt.

I see the notch but I'm not 100% satisfied with using it alone. So I dug out my stock suspension and removed the metal ring and installed it onto the Koni's.

My brake line attaches to the knuckle.

How did you attach it so that it is load bearing?

I placed a jack under the ball joint and once the car slightly lifted off the jack stand I torqued the lower control arm bolts.

I do not see how that makes the added ring bear weight. It would almost have to be welded, or otherwise fixed to the shock. It would also have to exactly align so that it could bear some of the load with the notch and bolt. I have shocks withoiut rings and the work fine. I initially was concerned until I understood that the shock is seated when the bolt goes through the notch. The ring may have a brakeline attachment, otherwise not used.

I misunderstood your question at first. The ring is seated against additional bumps on the strut. It sits exactly how the stock suspension is setup.

Ok, may add some load carrying, but other brands do not have anything other than the indent and bolt and seat fine.
