Crankshaft Pulley Bolt
Any advice on removing this damn bolt? I'm working on changing out the timing belt and can't seem to get this baby off. I hope it turns left to loosen, if not, I got this baby jammed on there now. Please help, my car is in the garage in pieces, god I love Honda's!!
FYI, it's a 1995 Accord LX, 4 banger.

Hey, if your's is the same as mine (90 accord ex) I couldn't get it off eithier if you look a few posts down. My wimpy inpact wrench wouldn't do it so I borrowed one and it took it right off. It does come off counter clock wise like a regular bolt. You need to hold the pulley with a strap wrench or some such tool if you don't have an impact wrench and compressor. It was a difficult time but keep at it and you'll get it... good luck... gary.

Oh, my gosh you guys are using impact wrenches? You can do some damage to the bearings. The service manual calls for breaker bar and other special tools, which I don't have. So I'll probably take my pulleys to be installed at a shop WITHOUT using impact wrenches. I'd love to know a Honda dealer that'd let me borrow their tools for a day.
