Is $9500 too much for a 2000?
Pros:
AP2 conversion:
Cons:
Mileage is actually a little higher, around 154k, almost 155k. Car is bone stock, except for the Espelir springs.
Pic for reference:

Is it even worth looking at? The car seems to have been maintained relatively well, but it has high mileage. It's a Florida car, so that's somewhat expected.
Thoughts?

It has: AP2 Head Lights, AP2 Tail Lights, AP2 Front Bumper, AP2 wheels with wheel locks, AP2 soft top rear window glass.
Red OEM seats and Red and black door panels
Genuine Red Honda emblems and I have the regular silver ones if you want to put them back on.

I think thats a little high considering the mileage, but the prices on these things vary so much that you just have to decide what you want and what its worth to you and stick to it.
Like others have said it seems like prices vary greatly. With out seeing it its difficult to say, but from the picture it would be worth atleast that in my area.
prices are going up as the years go on it seems like actually. fewer and fewer to buy. like everyone else said its what you want to buy and how much YOU are willing to pay.

not the same market so I really dont know
But I sold my 95 300zx last summer for 10k it had 52k on it and it was in immaculate condition.
I think 9500 for that s is a little steep i think 7500 would be a reasonable price.

Service records available from the owner? You can have the car check by a competent mechanic. Although mileage is high, as long as the engine is healthy, then the price is fair. I see S2ks with low mileage and runs like crap.
I can always ask, I suppose. I'm still on the hunt for a decent S2K with maintenence records. Honestly, for that price I can rebuild the motor without spending that much more.
you guys are all neglecting the fact that it's white.. which is a sought after color, I would say 9500 is to be expected, and realistically the condition of the "worn" items are typical of an S.
Driverside carpet rip may be eligible for repair but I forget if it was a TSB or recall..

In this case, I may agree, but that's not always the case. Look at the prices of Integra Type-R's. They still fetch over $10k. And you can look at 35-40 year old cars and say, "it's 30 years old! $10k is steep!" There are too many factors than just a vehicle's age.
if you plan on making drastic changes with the car like building a track car or show type car, you can find one that's a little beat up to save money since you'll be making changes to it anyway. But if you plan on doing simple mods and whatnot, try and find a nice, clean Ap2. Don't just settle for something. The right one will come up at the right price if you search around.
