I think I just shat myself lol
I don't know why I didn't figure this out before but that was NOT an OEM clutch and machined/balanced flywheel I pulled out of my trans... It is the TODA full face clutch kit, which happens to be $1300! Forget keeping that in a box in the garage, I am hanging this up on my wall! I replaced a TODA clutch and flywheel with an Exedy lol. Now I feel like an idiot but the TODA clutch had some life left and the pressure plate and flywheel were heat spotted and glazed real bad! I think my motor was a track ***** in Japan after all the things I have been finding.
I'd be bummed out to find something like this...I don't know about you, but I don't want anyone ripping on my car except me.
To purchase a motor and find that it was abused is not necessarily the best thing.
Whats under the VC?

So all along you were driving on a full race Clutch Kit and thought it was an OEM unit? I've driven a car with a race clutch and it was stupid stiff, compared to a soft OEM unit. If you're driving the vehicle on public roads, OEM is the best option, IMO.
As far as I know all the internals are stock but in the trans department I know there is a 4.9 final drive and it had a TODA clutch kit. I did think I was on the OEM unit. The only R I have driven is my own so how would I know that what I had is different. I know a friend of mine had an OS Giken clutch in his Silvia when he imported it. That right there is like a $2k clutch setup, he sold it for over a grand here in the states and put a $500 clutch in haha.
