so...i took off my steering wheel and reinstalled it...
the problem is gone...i'm hoping it doesn't come back?
maybe the problem was i tightened the airbag too tight when i put on my new steering wheel?

i reinstalled my steering wheel today...it's uneven barely but enough to notice
do i need to take it off again and try to realign it?
or should an alignment fix it so it's center again?
i would think that an alignment would mess it up because the steer wheel itself isn't centered...so when they adjust it they'll be adjusting it for the steer wheel to be slightly off?

Hi,
It would've been ideal if you marked the steering wheel to the steering column before you took it off. If you are off a couple teeth you can do the alignment and it'll adjust the tie rods according to a centered steering wheel.
If you don't want to do it that way you can just keep adjusting your steering wheel granted your alignment was straight to begin with.
Good luck!
