Default OT - Dyno number

For those of you who are curious of what dyno number of a stock Skyline R34 GTR VspecII's would produce. I did a base run on my car in Hong Kong 2 weeks ago at Top Racing. I got 223 whp which is 274.9 at flywheel.

223whp THATS IT??? People are making that here, Without two turbos and minus 2 cyclinders and N/A what gives? Also that carweighs like 3400lbs I guess the potential far outweighs the stock numbers.

Hey I thought people said the Jap's were lying with the 280hp figure quoted. I guess not huh

That's 274.9 hp at flywheel not tq. So, it's about right for a stock GTR.

You forget thats AWD not FWD or RWD. Stock Wrx's only put out about 160-170 whp.

keeping those stock must be like keeping a supra stock. It'll never happen. Those car are meant to be modded, the factory specs are just tease

They usually disengage the AWD before dynoing Skylines so the AWD driveline loss shouldn't be a factor here (unless they were using a AWD dyno).

I find those numbers hard to believe considering the R34 can do the 1/4 mile in the low 13's and weighs 3400+ lbs.

I guess that's on a 4 wheel dyno so the number are different than FWD or RWD dyno results.
