Horrible idle on 2000 crv IACV screen broken with Video

Check above for rpm fluctuation. Earlier today I cleaned the throttle body then when I pulled off the IACV I noticed the screen was gone and looked like it shattered or something. Have not replaced it yet but wanted to show the video to see if you guys think it's that. Thanks!

I just seen my exact same issue on YouTube under crv idle problems... Anyone also agree it could be the throttle body ? Already swapped out the IACV
No one will reply with that avatar.
Check FITV adjust that too if. B20s have it. Check for vacuum leaks, bad basket on TB and IM.

are you talking about how badly it drops rpms after a rev, before the idle "catches"? if so, try adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body...if memory serves me right, you will want to turn the screw out (counter clockwise)
yep, it can be adjusted while the car is running (best way actually) stock setting is 1.5 turns from the bottom. (screw it all the way in, then back it out, 1.5 turns) but turning it out more, will result in a higher idle (lets more air by) and screwing it in will lower the idle (lets less air by)

I pop the hood on this one too so hopefully someone could hear something.. Also opened the radiator cap and allowed it to get hot with the cap off.. Radiator fluid rised and slightly spilled but I dont think any air got out if any was in.. still doing the same.

A mechanic said the valves should be adjusted which I already knew but didnt know it could possibly cause a idle fluctuation like this.. Will inform you guys tonight of the results.. Feel free to post anything up in the meanwhile if you have suggestions.. thanks!
Yes it seems much better now but still having the issues after all the cleaning. When driving the car seemed fine when downshifting. its at idle when the problem really shines
I have never adjusted the valves and don't know when it was done. It's at 180k miles now and this is about the last thing that has been suggested to me. Also it's not surging idle, it's a dropping idle.
Oh yeah many have said valves will burn on these from factory over tightening and that they are not done as frequently, resulting in the burnt valve. Hopefully not that but we will see after I adjust valves today. Will run compression test after to see how all is. Meant to do it last night but didn't have the time. Crv is sitting in the garage waiting for some love.
Hopefully it gets fixed today with this adjustment. Will report back in a few hours
