Spoon Camshafts Diagram??? HELP
Hi there,
Well i have some spoon camshafts, they are fitted in the car but i dont now wich diagram i must use... do you guys have any idea?
I have a B16a1 with:
ITR TB
ITR intake manifold
ITR head with Valves, Springs, and retainers.
BuddyClub HeadGasket.
P30 ECU conversion.
need help asap, the car with this material runs like stock, i havent notice any diference
My current diagram is:
INTAKE: +5 degrees
EX: +5 Degrees.

Diagram? what do you mean by that? Those cams are more or less ITR cams so your cam gear settings (if that's what you posted +5) sounds way off to me. I would think 0-0 would be the place to start and go from there on a dyno for best power.
Balanced ITR cams from what i've heard. They do give specs for them which show higher lift and duration. My friend was a spoon dealer he had a demo ITR with everything spoon from Air filter to the exhaust tip. car was fast I believe he made just shy of 200. Switched the cams out to Jun 3's and still ran the spoon ecu he made 215 on the same dyno about 1 week later. Its a dynapak so its really consistent.
IMO: since Honda is the manufacturer of Spoon cams I believe they can be left at 0,0
