I have a 89 si that has a d15b7 in it with a 5 speed tranny. If it were possible for an si tranny to be bolted to a d15b7 how would i go about checkin whether it is a si tranny or not?

i dont need one yet. i was just wonderin how i could find out if it is one or not. and if its possible for the 5 speed behind my motor to be a si tranny

 

Check the for a stamp near where the axles go in should be a code the stamped I can't remember Wat codes are Si tranny but it on here on ht I think if it says a000 is non Si and Si is Pl300 not sure tho can't remember exactly
