going to look at a 1992 full ls swap. has ls tranny and ecu. are there anything that i should look for raise an eyebrow at or anything. anything helps here. also he said battery is dead and he said this cause the fuel pump to work off and on. i have a friend who has a fuel pump anyway to make sure its just the fuel pump and not anything more serious?

 

So....the motor is still in the car but it's not running, correct? A dead battery either works or it doesn't....

 

Just a reminder that you will also need to find del sol VTEC shift linkage or chop out like 3" from your original shift linkage for the swap the work properly.

As far as the fuel pump goes, I would just bring a battery with when you go pick it up/ look at it because, the majority of the time its either a bad fuel pump or bad main relay; usually not a bad battery.

 

i wouldnt waste my time on a ls swap u will better off u get a bseries engine that is vtec u will be satisfied if u did unless u planning do a ls turbo which is nice cuz the compression ratio is bout perfect for a turbo build
