wiring after market gauge to stock sensor

it it possible to wire it up to the stock sensor ?

Generally, no. Use an additional sensor so you don't interfere with the reading that the ECU is looking at.

no my stock temp gauge broke n i have an auto meter i wanted to hook up but cant find the sensor, i have a 93 civic ex

What do you mean you can't find a sensor? They are all over Ebay. I have two of them sitting on the table right in front of me. They're cheap.
