Hey there, I have a cold air intake (filter in bumper) and my blind eye never caught that the bolt in the bottom to mount it to the chassie went missing and that caused the tube to rub and cut itself on the body and now their is a giant slit in the pipe. I want to cut it for now into a short ram.

So my question is how short should I cut it for the best performance? Like where the battery is or closer to the manifold. Thanks -matt

 

Alright well I thought I would have a reply by now but no so I'm gunna cut a hole in my hood and route it out thru there and throw a nylon sock on the end of it. Gunna be a cool story bro

 

if you want to cut it in half where the slit is, just do that and buy a 3" silicone coupler to piece your pipe back together. Then replace the missing bolt you should be good.
