Default dont understand this setup i bought

Okay so i dropped a valve and plan on getting this motor back on the road.... I was told it is a b20vtec... but i pulled the piston and its on a p72 rod and is a p3f piston... can anyone tell if it is possible to have this in a b20 or is it a b18 block... Also what pistons should i get to raise my compression

P3F piston is a CRV part. That means you've got the larger B20 sized bore on your cylinders. If the block has the 1-piece siamese cylinder liner, it's def a B20 block. They probably droped in a GSR crank and rods which reduces your stroke slightly but gives a slight higher/better r/s ratio for high rpm running.

If you had a 87 crank with stock pistons, your compression is gonna be retarded low. Who the F did you buy this motor from??? I'd take this piece of **** and throw it through there living room window....what kinda clowns are "building" motors these days?

They won't fit the bore. You need 84mm pistons.
