Default Ef is lagging... Need help...

Hey I have a Honda civic that's starts up but lags and bogs when i drive it. I can't seem to figure what the problem is. The fuel pump works and the car starts up fine. But when I drive it it doesn't seem to go anywhere even when I push on the gas all the way down. I can only seem to go 10 mph... Even when I switch gears it's the same to all the gears... If you can help and have any suggestion it will help me alot thanks...

That is one of the most vague descriptions...

It could be a million things - brakes hanging up, sensors bad, timing, low fuel pressure...... Basically bad description of the problem leads to bad diagnosis. Do some of your own checks and tell us more information on what's going on.

Even with the terrible description, I'm going take a wild guess on a clogged catalytic converter. Disconnect the two exhaust bolts before the cat and try it out. Even if that turns out not be the problem, it will be fun!

Sorry for the bad Details... But I mean my car ran fine for as long as I got it... Which is a year or so and one day all of a sudden every gear is lagging and bogging on me. Its like I'm not getting enough fuel to the motor. Also no my check engine light isn't on.. So I'm pretty new wit cars that's why i need help...

Unbolt the cat and take it for a rip.

check your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. this happen to me awhile back when i accelerate the car would lag and bog, kinda like its jerking back and forth. and yeah it started every morning too. but when i drive that thing goes crazy on acceleration. so i change my rotor, cap and wires and everything went back to normal....
