Recently I have seen many many clean civics/integras etc. been stolen right out of peoples drive ways, well
My simple answer is Get a tracking device for the car because obviously they are worth stealing.

so I have done research and i have tried looking for a good tracking device but i fail to do so,

so im wondering if you guys can help me out and give me some good tracking devices for a car
thanks!

dont quite remember how it had been worked out, but ive heard of people leaving an extra connected phone hidden in the car. dont know if you wanna try looking it up but its worth a try for 10 bucks a month added to your phone bill!

Mobileiq GPS, Escort Blackline GPS..... http://www.airiq.ca/consumer.php, http://www.blacklinegps.com/products/

I have a second set that I bought of the Escort Blackline GPS Entourage CIS that I never open or used if you wanna buy it off me for cheap instead of paying full retail for it.

I have Entourage CIS installed in my vehicle, if you pre-pay for the full year...they waive the activation fee and the monthly fee comes out to $15 a month for "UNLIMITED" connections. That's sorta extreme, since you really don't need to know where your vehicle is at all times every second, every minute, every 10 minutes, etc with its tracking capabilities.

With mobileiq you get 50 connections a year for a certain price...you're gonna have to call them to find out. It's probably much cheaper with those "limited connections". Since the only time you really need to access tracking is when it's "stolen". You just have to pay retail for the gps brain that's all.

I would go with mobileiq if I were you. For $250 you get the GPS brain, wiring, antennae, etc and first years 50 connections. After the first year, it's $50 for the next 12 months of 50 connections. For $25 more, you can add 50 more connections during the first year or the following year.

When you do the math:
it's more cost effective to go with the mobileiq set up. Even if you bought the Escort CIS tracking device from me and did their plan, you would save $30 a year going with mobileiq.....unless you're super paranoid and need to track your civic every 10 minutes where your vehicle is, than going with the Escort Blackline Entourage is the way to go.

hope this helps you and others out there deciding what to do to stop the thieves.

easy solution, have insurance get lojack. i have a sensor on my key chain where if my car starts without it in the radius then lojack calls me and notify me that my car has started.
