Here I go I will try and make this clear as possible. I transplanted a b16a2 from 1999 Honda Civic Si. I used everything and tried to get it bar and it passes everything except the emissions. I am not throwing any codes what so ever.

The things I changed are the timing belt, spark plugs, air filter, and oil.
all vacuum lines are connected

What I did was used 1998 EX Catalytic Converter. Everything match up and I do not have an exhaust leak. I also tried to do this and added a brand new DC cat back exhuast. (The technician didn't say anything about it) Could this cause some of the problems. I was told it shouldn't. I also used all the OE intake system and stock headers.

I also have not changed either of the two O2 sensors. (Primary o2 sensor is the same from the b16a2, secondary O2 sensory and Cat. is from the 1998 EX) I am certain wired the second 02 sensor correctly. Sense I did not get a CEL, I am assuming they are good.

It appears that my 25 mile is almost passing but not quite, the HC (ppm) is high. 15 mph (forget about it, WAY HIGH)

Does any one have some info that went through the same type of thing and was able to pass the sniffer test after fixing their failed smog.
And does any one have some knowledge on any of this smog stuff and that can give me some suggests on where to start.

I like Cali, but the smog ****'s are making it difficult to drive my vehicle on the streets. Want to get this to pass asap so I can start getting some bolt ons and do some internal work. T
