Default Half shaft issue

wasn't sure where to post this..

iv been hitting google like a mad man and keep getting mixed answers.

I have a b18a1 with a cable b16 trans im putting in my ef.

which half shaft do i have to use? has anyone who knows 100% or has done this fill in this blank for me?

i have a 91 integra ls half shaft but it doesn't go in all the way. (about a half inch short from bolt holes lining up)

sounds like someone lied to you then, an automatic halfshaft will look right but be a little off when you attempt to bolt it to the block.

Problem solved!
6 bucks later and one 90-93 ls axle seal and the ls half shaft fits.
Problem; The B16 axle seal is too small for the ls half shaft to fit.
So choices are; Use a B16 half shaft or install a ls axle seal.

You can post it in here if you keep it more on the technical side.

Sorry, I didn't mention the seals because I thought it was common knowledge that you had to use the seal to match whatever shaft you are using.
