hey guys, i got backed into today and it messed up the whole front end of my car so im planning to just replace my 94-97 front end for a jdm front. i was wondering if you guys had any ideas of where to get one at a shop + installed. im looking for a HID front for it. ill take a non-hid lighted one. or does anyone know someone that has one for sale? any information would be greatly appreciated.

also im looking for a used one. ill take a new if its a good deal too.

 

How hard is it to find a front end when you're 2 hours away from the biggest market in California? I paid $1,100 for mines here locally from a jdm importer. Best is to find a local shop or drive to LA. You ought to check the marketplace first hand.

 

Depending on the condition of the front you want, you could be looking anywhere between 800-1200, And make sure to watch out for fiberglass and polyurethane parts, unless you don't really care.

Getting it professionally put on is the best way to go, lining the front up sucks *** and If they do a half assed job or mess something up you could probably get them to fix it. Ive seen so many people do it on their own and it looks so bad. The labor would probably be maybe like $300-400 at most.

And lastly you would probably have to paint match the front, unless you don't really care that it's a little bit off. I would highly recommend paint matching it though, it'll give you a much cleaner look :D .

 

Get your front end from hmotorsonline.com located in Burbank. Then check the SoCal Shop list in the socal forum to find a good shop to install your front end.

That sounds like a deal too good to be true. The ebay ad says JDM Type R Sir-G. So which one is it?

Type R has a lip with black housing head lights.

SiR-G has chrome housing with out the lip.

Hmotorsonline ftw!!! Ive been to their warehouse and all the front clips they get are SUPER CLEAN. When i picked up my engine from there, some guys came from vegas to get theirs, and one of em bought a crx sir cluster right off the clip and it only had 14,000kilometers on it! Low mileage, clean parts/engines/front clips

I highly doubt it but its worth a try. Talk to steve and see what he offers. He may know a shop close by you can take it to. Hmotors is a lil more expensive than other places, but they have the right to be lol. Their stuff is legit.
