Got a 99 teg with b20 vtec. No AC. So.....when my windows are down and it's hot outside, hot air blows on my feet even with the fan switch off and to the cold setting. Now if I roll my windows up the hot air stops by I can keep it like that cuz it will get a million degrees in the car but on the other hand I don't want ho air blowing on me when it's a million degrees outside. Please help if anyone knows how to fix this! Thansk

 

you could install AC.

 

Check the heater control valve, [water valve] #3 http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal it may be stuck open, so even if blower is not on, when you open a window you "suck" air through the heater core. 94

 

Where is that valve located?

 

Close to firewall engine bay side about lower center on heater hose. 94

 

Would that cause hot air to come out the vents with fan switch off windows up or down?

 

I get air flow through the vents when the fan is off when the air is not circulating "fresh air". I just switch it to circulating the cabin and there is no more hot air (i think coming from the engine bay) coming through...
