I'm buying a b17a longblock that is in pieces.

I know the crank is a very desired piece in the Honda camp.

My problem is, how do I make sure the crank that I'm getting is a b17 crank? Can I measure it in any way to be sure?

I'm buying the engine Wednesday.

 

I think the 1.7 crank has DB2 stamped on it but not positive. They are just like the ls crank but have only 81mm stroke as compared to 89mm ls stroke.
