Default Sam's new rare '98 CR-V

Hey everybody. I had an integra but the thing was just to darn small. Just picked up my first cr-v after looking for a while, and I love it. It's so practical. I think it's also very rare as I've NEVER seen one like it. Mine is a 5-speed with leather interior AND a sunroof. The car has 186k miles and the motor is a JDM swapped B20 with only 50k.

I also got a set of the oem side step rails and the oem skid plate for $90 on craigslist.

My average MPG's are right at 25. So far the only thing I've done is taken off the top of the air filter box and installed a circle K&N filter, so I guess it's like a short ram intake. I'd like to mock up some piping and route the air filter towards the front of the car by the radiator to get some colder air which will hopefully increase the MPG's a little.

Dangit! I'm from Ohio and I've never seen one like mine (with all three). I'm keeping it as a daily driver car so modifications wont be major at all. I'd like to try and increase the MPG's, put on a trailer hitch, get the windows tinted and possibly swap in front seats from an Odyssey or something. I'm might also install a B.A. audio system as well. I'm an audio engineer and I had a system in my integra that I tuned and it was screamin.

Yeah it would, the CRV's seats are such a drag. If I ever get to it I'll post a thread about it.

ive been looking til now for a V w/ sunroof(oem) ive seen a couple but not
standard tranny, you got both, good for you!! although im not a fan of leathers...
anyway good luck on your plans!! keep us updated!

**sunroof for crvs were a dealer's option but few units were ordered here in the
east coasts... (afraid of leak problems in the winter) thats why most of them are
in the west coast.....

Ok gotcha. I really don't think I've ever seen a Gen 1 V with a sunroof here in Cincinnati.

pretty sure sunroof and leather seats are dealer installed aftermarket parts...in other words, not honda issued. having a 5spd is about as "rare" as they come from honda lol
