2 way Viper alarm and a 40cal.

I actually had someone almost steal my car the other night. Good thing that I have a hood sensor. I am going to start keeping it in the garage once I clean it out. No one ever tried to steal any of my Nissans.

yea I also lock my dors...lol

I got a clutch lock and was thinking to toss a couple kill switches. Their is a pretty good system out here with the whole shibang but its ovet a K.

having all the alarms and kill switches, I have read stories here of a dude woundering HOW they stole his car cuz he had it all. 99.9$ its the tow truck; therefor, grab a thick chain and chain it to something.

Besides all stated above, i'd still get a gps tracking device because if they manage to drive off, you'll know were the car is and atleast catch the theivs.

Post Re: how do you keep your integra safe at night?

Sorry for the long post, but I had to share my two shiny pennies...

Besides the usual alarm system, kill switches, removable steering wheel, etc. My teggy is parked in my garage that has a motion sensor that is connected to the rest of the home security system in my house. If I must park on the driveway, there is a hidden security camera/mic that records 24/7 to a dedicated pc terminal. Should there be someone still bold enough to come onto my property and cowardly TRY and take my blood, sweat, and tears from me...this Glock 18 will be in their face before they can apply to mickey d's lol:

(NOT this exact Glock 18, I wish I had the modifications)

Either way, !@#% theives, how would they feel if someone took their car or other possessions from them huh (oh that's right, they dont have hearts/feelings or a legit job in most cases). Since theives are heartless creatures, they wont die if I pump a whole magazine into their worthless bodies now right? Then again, these retards scum of the universe aren't worthy enough for me to dirty my bullets with. Plus, bullets aren't free so why should I give them more free stuff lol. I had one of my other DC2 stolen at the movie theater and it was AUTOMATIC, salvage title, and pretty much stock except stereo and jdm cluster. Probably a joyride because 3 weeks later I got it back fully intact except busted ignition and missing stereo. Not even the Apple Macbook Pro I had in the trunk was taken...geez. So now I got a clean title, one owner, 5MT integra with a lot of jdm/aftermarket goodies I have gots to take extra precautions such as these. However, if they really want it...they will get it. They can roll up with masks on and tow the car, maybe have guns too...but anyways hope you all keep your hondas (and any other car) safe.

So I just got a dc2 today and I'm wondering how worried I should be about it getting stolen.. It definitely stands out cuz of some ricey camo on the hood and trunk.
what precautions should I take too. it has a killswitch but is that full proof?

obviously cmwalker has a parking enforcement grade boot lol but you can buy a more portable one that is great at deterring theft. make sure you have locking lug nuts as well

search for alpha lock or bully lock jaws

my first car got stolen about a year back. i had a clutch pedal lock, kill switch, alarm. and they still took it....trust me if someone wants your car they will take it....to everyone who has an alarm beware, integras have the hood unlatch cable run threw the drivers fender, extremely easy to grab and pop your hood without sounding your alarm, (most ppl dont think to put hood sensors) and they will disconnect your battery which will deactivate ur alarm.... then most theives i kno have multiple honda keys on a key chain 5 to 20 of them and some are shaved and they can easily just open your door like its theirs.... you can take ur ecu out but whose to say they break in and see why it wont start but nobody came outside or they lock up and come back the next night and u never new but this time with a ECU. kill switches can b bypassed easily unless its off ur blinker or hazard light some stock OEM switch.....all im saying is people beware because those who cannot afford to buy the things we can want to take ours. and its messed up, now i have to spend 4 minutes locking up my car everynight. wtf just cuz i got a integra.

I have a 2-way. I don't park in sketchy areas like downtown unless it's within moderate proximity to an officer, and I own and carry this daily.
