New 94 Hatch owner
Hey guys,
Just bought my first Honda yesterday. It's a 1994 Honda Hatch CX, 5 speed, red, 82,500 miles, pretty good shape considering how old it is. What sold me was it has a clean title, low miles, new timing belt, water pump, radiator, thermostat, brakes, clutch, tires, plugs, wires and the fact that it was red
It's already been lowered on some no-name springs and I plan to slap some white Rota GT3 wheels on it from my brother and commute in it (I drive 55 miles a day). Paid $2850 for the car, seemed like a good deal! It does need a wash, clay bar, polish, glaze and wax though. The roof is starting to fade a little bit. The driver door has a dent in it as well, plan to swap it if I can find one in good shape.

Matt, if you're reading this. The game.

Thanks everyone. Finally got the 5 post and 15 day rule here, kinda silly but whatever
Picked up a JDM rear bumper for $30 that was in much better shape than the old one. The JDM one is red too but it's faded on the top and doesn't match anyway. Found out the car I bought has been re-painted at some point in it's life so in order to keep this a daily beater but still looking pretty fresh, I want to roll some Interlux red paint on the car so it all matches again. If that paint doesn't work out, I'm just going to rattle can it army green and keep the white GT3 wheels. I love projects!
Car runs great! Doesn't burn oil and netted me 44mpg on the last tank

So far I've done quite a bit to this little car. Here is a list:
Kenwood deck with iPhone hookup
New gray dash piece (old one was cracked around the stereo)
Gauge cluster with a tach (swapped my old speedo into it)
Del Sol seats
15x7 GT3's in white
195/50 Yokohama S drives
"New" tailgate that isn't as dented as my old one
JDM rear bumper with a lot less gouges in the plastic
OEM gray floor mats
Grenade shift ****
Wet sanded/buffed/polished the paint out which will look 100x better when I go to a finer grit sand paper and use some swirl remover
