so i am thinking about getting my first bike. i have ridden before, but i am not a rider. i am just looking for something to ride back and fourth to work during the spring/summer/fall. i got a really nice job in town, not much parking. theres a space for me to put my motorcycle out back.

so i went looking at sub cheap stuff on craigs list. trying to stay in the $500 range. i looked at scooters, mopeds and some bikes. then i cam across this

of course, its craigs list so i am going to try to hustle him down.

does anyone know much about these bikes?

 

good bikes, have a huge cult following.

Carbs will need to be rebuilt.

 

ive got a buddy who paid about 1500 for the same bike, different paint, for his first bike. had some carb issue, like a hesitation but hes living with it, his first bike too... he seems happy with it.

 

they al have carb issues. comes with the age
