Default h22a4 block with a2 head?

Hey guys

I have a question, reason Im asking is because I happen to have a small crack in my block in a coolant line right under exhaust manifold..

But as we know the a2 block is closed deck, and a4 open. Would it be possible to use the a4 block with my a2 head?

Thanks,
Best regards Rasmus

You shouldn't have any issues putting A2 head on the A4 block. No modification needed.

yeah they'll swap over, just make sure you use the headgasket for the block, and not the head.
