91 ef sedan clunk coming from left pillar or door panel.

91 ef sedan clunk coming from left pillar or door panel.
So the clunk has been going on for awhile.
Happens when i start to slow down or if i brake lightly.
Sounds like its coming right from the pillar where the seatbelt bolts to.
Cant figure it out. Weird thing is that its works when its a cold day?!
Driving me crazy!!
And I have had the same problem with and old da of mine and a hatch of mine.
HELP ME!
