Why are my brake lights on after my keys are out???
Ok so my dad got home from work and was like do you know your brake lights are on? I was like no??? how could they be on i have the keys. So i went out to the car and sure enough they were on bright as could be? So I got the haynes book before I came on here and posted and i went back and looked again... And this is what i found???

Someone had pushed a blue crayon through the back side of the hole and expected it the work which it has surprisingly for over a year. My tech question is what originally goes in this hole to depress the button??? And pictures of your brake pedal would be nice, and any ideas of how to fix would also be helpful...
Thanks
John

oh wow honda tech i didnt even think to use the search bar??? Dang it... Well at least I looked for the problem before coming on here like most people do and say "Yo my brake lite stayin on an it wont go off what I do now?" hahah Thanks Tyson
Yup..... that's not a crayon. Its the piece that goes in there. And to fix the problem..... I just taped a nickel to where that "crayon " was. That way when you let off the peddle it engages the button turning off the lights
HAHA i could have swore it was a crayon haha I even was like this is some off brand crayon cause it wouldnt write on paper like crayolas do haha
