I am hating cars more and more... ***gigantic pics inside***

Sorry about the size of the pics but I dunno how to use my new photo hosting thing...

So during this time without my car I figured I would borrow my boys car while he's away to cali...so far I've had to rewire the driver side lighting system, replace a transmission, a speedometer cable, an axle that was bent...an axle that I just destroyed (today), and paint the door and bumper all in all I dunno if I'ma ever get my swap done [frown]

Heh, that sucks big time! How did you screw up that newer axle??? And what happened to that tranny?

Give us some info on your swap, I'm interested.

i had my tranny case break in the exact same spot. i think we cross threaded the mount bolts with stressed the case and caused it to break...

looks like you have been having some tough luck.

It's a B16A1 swap, I still dunno why the tranny did that, I broke the axle by havin' the wheel turned hard to the left and when I pushed on the gas apparently pushed to hard cause as soon as I did the car made a horrible ;sdliufeoija; noise and that was that. Anyways, I'm pickin' up a new axle today so we'll see what happens.

Lesee I spun not 1 but two rod bearings (seperate motor builds) in the same day, locked up oil pump, broke a axle and threw it thru the oil pan. Crank is fucked now... youre not so bad off

something similar happened to a friend of mine, he used to downshift alot say from fourth to second fifth to second, etc. people just learn the hard way in some cases. btw I've got an S1 transmission casing if you need it.
