In regards to the engine, the only modifications I plan to make are to the I/H/E. I will not be doing any type of internal engine work. With this in mind, what I/H/E does everyone think will allow me to take advantage of this setup.

TIA

SMSP header/catback combo and the air filter you think looks "the coolest".

AEM, Comptech Icebox, K&N drop-in filter, etc.

How's the sound of the SMSP header/cat/exhaust combo?

I'm looking to go with strictly bot-ons as well, but want to retain the stock exhaust note. Unfortunately, I think that the hytech is just a little out of my price range.

What kind of gains did you net with this setup?

Didn't dyno her yet, I waiting on a intake. I'm thinking J's (I wanna see a dyno first) or the mugen piece (but I'm not to fond of relocating my A/C lines )

Pretty much whatever you want.

At that level you're splitting hairs.

I'd say spend the same money on a clutch and flywheel upgrade and forget that other stuff, but that's me.

Quick question: With the comptech 421 header (2 inch collector) which carsound cat would I use? ( I don't think they make a 2inch one)

I would say Hytech/SMSP Header and Exhaust. Pick any high-flow cat and whatever intake you like.

for the non-budget conscience:

intake - Mugen or something similar to my setup (M's hyper charger hooked up for cold air with ARC intake chamber)

header/exhaust - FULL hytech header back system or toda + test pipe + Amuse R100 Tit exh

Stock Exhaust? Why spend the money on the header and the cat if your only going to bottleneck it at the b-pipe?
