I went to order a interior part off the honda estore and for a 1997 accord it does not list Taupe as an interior color. According to the VIN it is a 97 so I'm wondering why this is. Is there a easy way to tell the difference between a 4 door 96 and a 97 Accord?

 

It's labeled on the driver side door jamb on the b pillar. Your label has a H code for taupe. F if it's ivory.

I also have f interior. The only difference I have seen is the patterns between 96 and 97. You can tell in the seats.

 

If you look above the door striker on the b pillar, there's another label that had the interior code. The taupe looks darker than the ivory/beige and the seats and door panels have patterns.

Themuffinman, I noticed on majestic's site they sell 2 different driver side power window trims. One is TRW and I forgot the other one. Based on their picture, I don't really see the differences. How can I tell which switch cover to get. Thanks.

 

IIRC they list it based on interior color like (switch - color taupe)
