I got a 91 integra W/ a b20 swap and my oil presure light comes on dim sometimes and brighter other times.I read on another thread that sensors or plugs differ from the original b18 and the b20 I have causing light to come on... Anyone know whats up w/ this and how to fix it?

I know it can be caused by low oil level, defective oil pump, defective oil pressure sending unit, incorrect oil filter but I don't think any of that is wrong...

 

What b20 do u have? I did a b20 swap on my 91 teg and everything plugged right in ...(kept obd0)

Have you checked to verify its none of the things you listed?

 

don't know where you heard that, but the plugs are all the same.
another cause can be worn main bearings. also, a clogged pick up. you'd be best to figure out the problem before driving it any longer
check the pressure manually with a gauge. then compare it to spec
i think it's roughly 20psi at idle. but check to be sure

 

I have a 99 b20b w/ the P8R-8 head it ended up being faulty sending unit
