Hi I'm new to Honda-tech
I'm having a problem with my 91 accord that was given to my
the speedometer dose not work and the "s" light flashes sometimes
I replaced the speed sensor "VSS" twice (in a row)
both times it worked for 5 blocks then shifts hard and stops working (speedometer)
Also it will down shift to 2nd on the highway sometimes (happened twice)
the car ideals fine in park and rough in drive ???????? I'm stumped
Its a auto with 44,xxx miles on it
My great aunt gave me the car because she got a new one

Check for codes...good place to start. Fluid check and change might be next.

 

now after driving it a little more it won't down shift properly, it will shift up to third? but not down when you come to a stop. I still need to pull the codes though to see what they say.
