Well i finally decided to do a K swap on my EF hatch and I just want a Daily Driver K swap for the moment and all i wanna know is what parts am i gonna need so i can have a reliable k24a4. I have searched and This is the list i have came up with so far:

If i want to get it bar'd will i need the RSX dash harness?
If i need it does it matter if it is the RSX typ-s or base model dash harness?
And if there is parts i am missing can you let me know and if there are parts i dont need to to have for a daily driver can you let me know...

that i know of, if you run a k24 you wont be able to run a hood, my homie put a k20 in his ef and had to modify a sir hood and the passenger side headlight housing, then buy a bracket to re route the belt, he also had to modify the shift plate from a eg, he did get a sheet of aluminum and eventually made his own shift plate, as for the hood the k24 sits too high, i could be wrong, jus thought i would warn you

 

shim the motormounts down and sir hood with spacers and cut webbing. pita.

My other question is do I need to tune the ecu with k pro myself before I start to drive my k24 swap?

 

my homie bought the k pro ecu and a wire harness and had to get the jdm cluster cuz its digital, that way vtec would work
