Hey guys, ok so I bought a 99 si a few weeks ago, b16a2 with stock ECU. I got the "check engine" light and after plugging in diagnostics i recieved error code p1337, which has something to do with the CKF sensor. After using my sensor tester i determined that this sensor is functional and good. Next i checked the wiring, sure enough there was some questionable looking hook ups here. The wiring from the sensor to the engine harness looked ok but the wiring on the engine harness side had obviously been messed with. I snipped off the crappy wiring that had been messed with (photo below) and now my question is, do i just go get the wires with the same gauge and proceed to hooking it up to the sensor connection? or is there some other step im over looking?

Yep, same gauge wire and solder/shrink wrap all splices.
