I have had this issue occur a few times... I dive the car hard and sometimes I miss 4th because the synchro is on it's way. Afterwards the tranny locks up and will not shift into 3rd and 4th is really hard to get into. A few hours later after letting the car sit the tranny shifts fine again? Wtf could this be? It's a type r trans with LSD.

 

When was the last time you switched the transmission "fluid" or checked it? 94

 

I'm gonna check it. But I filled it like a little more then a year ago with fresh Honda mt fluid.
