COMPLETE Ls-Vtec Swap AND Parts Car, 2k, CHEAP!, Bloomington, Indiana
Complete LS-Vtec swap for sale. It happens to come with a 97 Ex parts car. Here's the list....
LS Block with High Compression Pistons (11:1 roughly) $600
GSR Tranny (new input shaft bearing and pilot bearing $500
B16 Head $400
GSR Cams $75
Fidanza Flywheel$75
ARP Head Studs $60
Chipped ECU (dont remember which one..p72?) $not sure, make an offer
Axles (1 yr old, good shape) $100 for pair
Water pump $25
Alternator $75
Starter $50
Distributor $100
Full Exhaust w Magnaflow muffler $100
AEM Intake/K&N Filter $75
Integra Shift Linkage $100
Autometer Water Temp gauge (electric, brand new) $35
All factory a/c stuff $offer
92-95 Del Sol Engine/Compressor Mount (required to retain A/C with LS/Vtec on this car) $125

All machine work and assembly of block performed by Stuarts Engines in Indianapolis, Indiana. This swap has 50k on it, the chassis has 150k. Partially disassembled so won't currently run but all parts are included. It was driven into the garage a few weeks ago and ran PERFECT before the partial disassembly. The EK was rear-ended a few months ago and IMO would not be worth fixing for what it would take to make it a reliable road vehicle, not to mention that it would also be a salvage title as it was totaled by the insurance company after being hit. It would be a great car for someone to remove the swap from and then part out/scrap the rest which you could easily make $500 back doing.

You can hear it run if you bring 2k cash and watch while I spend an hour or two reassembling it to the point where it will run.

Yes there's a difference. B18a/b are the ls non vtec motors. B18c are the gsr or type r vtec motors. If u have a b18c bottom end that would make it what ppl call a poormans type r. Lsv are b18a/b bottom end with your choice of vtec heads. Hope that clears it up a little for you buddy. Glws
I really want to sell the whole thing whole, which I think for 2k shouldn't be too difficult. BUMP!
if i were u i would look at the engine and see if its either a ls block or a gsr block it makes a HUGE difference and will help the sale alot, if its a gsr block this motor will be alot more desirable then if it had a ls block go look and post what it is your motor will probably sell faster with the proper info and if it is a b18c block its not a ls/v swap it a poorman type r swap witch is ALOT more desirable then ls/v
I fixed the original post. It's an LS block with high compression pistons. The compression is roughly 11:1. I'm parting out because no one will buy it whole.
