I just bought a 95 civic ex or dx, that had a B18A1 VTEC motor that was put in with after market trans. I know the B18A1 are suppose to come non V-tech. I need some insights on what to look for within the motor to know it is reliable and so that I don't blow it before gunning the trottle. Also, what is the red line set at because I am told 7,000 rpms, but it is unknown? Some insights will be greatly abloged!
